Ba. said to He.: "I have you out at 3:45" when we had low numbers on Friday - Hewan was much surprised, when I told her at 4:15 that her shift ended half an hour ago, she even went to check with Bana herself (who did indeed confirm my interpretation)
Bo. said to me at the end of the day, when I was helping her do something after her shift had ended, but before the end of mine: "I need you to go to the dinner after work [with the other staff]" - I jaw-dropped and had no idea how to tell her politely that I have no intention of doing so. I pussy-footed around the issue for a bit, and then she repeated that she's going to the dinner. Its then that I realized that she, like many people who haven't mastered English language, had messed up the pronouns: she mean that she needs to the dinner, and that's why she's keeping busy until 6 pm. I double checked with her that its ok for me to go, and then left. But the horror when she said she wanted me to go to dinner, and I wanted to go home and sleep...

And the worst burn of all this is that I'm being paid the lower rate than these two goons (but at least He. cleans everything) - Bo. has been at the centre for 6 months, she's full-time and past-probation...

P.S. I was pissed, that Bo. took over my last day of scheduling, and pointed out a stupid phrase to Ba. - Ba. addressed my concern with an explanation that made sense, but got on Bo's case about a different thing on her program plan.
Because Bo does NOT have a better understanding of children, curriculum, and connection between the two, than me, and she Certainly Does Not write better than me in English.
