I should have signed that damn thing, but made deals with parents under the carpet, off the record books: you will pay the first late fee to the office and review the policy with me, but the second late fee can be paid in full to the office, or in half to me - instead of $8/minute, parent pays me $4/minute, which is still more than I'd make as hourly rate, and I don't write down anything.
